There are many interesting areas to stay in Dubai Tours, although for us the best thing is the hotels in Dubai Marina, it depends on the tastes and budget of each one since it is not a city where tourist attractions are concentrated in a single point, everything is usually quite distanced. So according to the point that most interests each one thinking of wanting to visit it several times or go for a walk at night, bars, restaurants will make you choose a certain area.

What we consider essential is that the hotel is close to the red metro line, since it takes you to all the points of interest and not only you will save time but also money.

We were in 4 different hotels so we can leave you an overview of the points for and against each area. The idea of ​​changing hotel in the stay of Dubai was useful to divide the itinerary and in each hotel being close to the places that most interested us. The downside of it is the transfer and even more if they are with several suitcases. You can take them quietly in the subway but going up and down stairs can be a bit more exhausting and even more so if the hotel is a few blocks from the station.

In addition to all that Dubai is not an easy city to walk, normally in many places it is difficult to cross the highways or the modern form of construction that forced them to take passages over the streets having to climb stairs.

DEIRA (Ancient Zone)

The first hotel where we stayed was in the Deira area, an old part of the city. Our plane arrived at dawn and it was a pity to spend so much money in a hotel where we were only going to be 4 hours and of which we did not even sleep one. In addition to this one of the points to know was this area so it was useful to be close to being almost at one end of Dubai away from other points of interest. Anyway, we chose the hotel near the subway station to start our journey across the Creek.

So if you are looking for an economic area of ​​hotels or spend your stay in the old area of ​​Dubai, you must book a hotel in Deira. We do not recommend it much because you will waste a lot of time traveling to other points except as we said before that your idea is to spend as little as possible in Hotel, although sometimes having to use so much underground can make it more expensive.

Another point is that the area is not the most beautiful to go out at night nor are going to find many places open to eat or go out for a drink, it is an area where most of the locals live. It is not so focused on tourism.

The hotel that we were is quite old so we cannot recommend it much unless you are looking for a price you can check the name.

Hotels in DUBAI MARINA

The second hotel where we stayed was in the Dubai Marina area, totally at the other end. For us it was our favorite area due to the fact that we liked the surroundings of the marinas, boats with the buildings in the background, an incredible landscape both day and night, being able to visit the place of the typical photo of Dubai. The only point against the hotels in Dubai Marina that we can find is that being almost at the other end is a bit far from the center of Dubai, but we did not affect us since we would spend a night in that area too. Many points, apart from the place that every time you see it leaves you with an open mouth, near the hotels in Dubai marina, they have shopping centers, many bars and restaurants, to walk day and night is beautiful, very quiet . A few blocks from the hotels in Dubai marina is the street called The Walk, where they also have several places to eat or drink, 14 murals to take pictures and the waterfront to travel or same can go to the beach. In the marina you can also rent boats or take walks both inside the marina and also be able to tour the palm tree. If we had the opportunity to return, we would definitely choose this place again.

CENTER OF DUBAI (Burj Khalifa)

Precisely we did not stay in this area but to 2 stations of it in the Ibis World Trade Center which is only 2 blocks from the station. Perhaps the emblem building of Dubai and by which Dubai is known is the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, which will be impressed to see it by its height, is in this area.so we can recommend everyone to go for BurjKhalifa Trips. There is also one of the largest shopping centers in the world, the Dubai Mall. Therefore, they already have 2 interesting attractions to stay there. To locate them, they would be in the middle of the map at almost the same distance from the old part as from the marinas of Dubai. The negative point is that hotels and restaurants are usually more expensive so for us it was impossible and we had to find a hotel as close as possible. Besides leaving what is the Burj area, Dubai Mall and the fountains there is not much else to walk. It is an area that we recommend for those who are thinking about shopping and spend a lot of time in the Dubai mall, which will take many hours to cover it in its entirety.
