The United Arab Emirates is a set of states located southeast of the Arabian peninsula in the Persian Gulf, consisting of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras el Jaima , Serge and Um the Kaiwain. Each emirate retains considerable political, judicial and economic autonomy and is each ruled by its emir or "shekj" (as they are told in Arabic) with specific powers. The central government forms the supreme council, formed by the seven emirs. The President of the country is usually the emir of Abu Dhabi, and the Prime Minister, the Dubai.

Weather
Very high temperatures throughout the year except in the coasts where it softens a little. The humidity is very high and the few rains appear from November to March.
